The Quilting Frenzy Continues

I finally finished the scrappy border for my aunt's quilt, so all I have left is to add another border. I haven't photographed the top with all four scrappy borders, but trust me, it's pretty cute. Paper piecing is a fiddly mutha, let me tell you....

I'm making the border white, with the hope that it will "match" something in her house. I started a lap quilt for my dad. I bought The Gypsy Wife pattern book a few weeks ago, so I'm using one of the block patterns in it for my dad's quilt-practice for when I make the quilt for myself. I love the pattern the little fish give this block-quirky without being cheesy. I hope he likes it.
