A few years ago Anthropologie moved into the center where I work. There is good and bad to that. The bad is - I want every single thing in that place, the good is - I've been inspired to make my own copies for a lot less! I found a REALLY great pattern by Burda. The instruction are minimal, but the fit and style are great! I've made other things by Burda with the same great results. Their things seems to be a little hipper than some of the other pattern companies. The biggest bonus was JoAnn fabric has their linens 50% off!! Even at full price, it would still be cheaper than Anthroplogie. Here is my latest copy (not completely finished) inspired by
