Snoozin' In The Sun & Knitting...

Yesterday was spent trying to decipher a rather tricky knitting pattern - I blew the whole darn day and still haven't completely worked it out.  After frogging at least 5 times, I decided to do a little research.  I have no idea why I tortured myself for so long, I should have just done a little searching on Ravelry.  I would have been better off, and at least would have been able to salvage part of the day...

The yarn was from my swap partner Mehna.  Her friend Karen hand dyes and spins this beautiful yarn.  I'm so eager to knit it up, and determined that it will be THIS pattern.  I'm sure I'm reading way too much into the instructions....
