I decided to make Ailish a cozy pillow. Thought she might need something new and nice while on "vacation". What better than a bird pillow? I love combining felt and embroidery, it's a great, colorful combination.Piping also adds some great color as well. I stuffed the pillow with bamboo fiberfill, something new for me. I bought two bags of it on sale a long, long time ago. Glad I did, it's awesome stuff and so soft. At the last minute I decided to add a lavender sachet inside the pillow. The leaves I had were a little lame, so I perked them up with a little lavender oil. What a treat! Lavender has to be one of my favorite scents.....
